SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The Utah Jazz put on a scoring clinic on Thursday night, defeating the Toronto Raptors 145-113 at Vivint Arena. Lauri Markkanen led the way for the Jazz with 22 points and nine rebounds.
Raptors Struggle to Keep Pace with Jazz's Offensive Explosiveness
The Jazz raced out to a 35-point lead in the first half, shooting over 60% from the field. The Raptors struggled to keep up, trailing by 20 at the break. The second half was no different, as the Jazz continued to pour in points. Markkanen was a force on both ends of the floor, hitting 8-of-15 shots and grabbing nine rebounds.
Other notable performers for the Jazz included Jordan Clarkson with 20 points, Mike Conley with 18 points, and Kelly Olynyk with 16 points. The Raptors were led by Scottie Barnes' 24 points, but it was not enough to overcome the Jazz's offensive onslaught.
This victory marks the Jazz's third straight win and improves their record to 23-17 on the season. Meanwhile, the Raptors fall to 19-23.
